As I was reviewing the production calendar, it became clear there were some early edits (most of them cosmetic) that had to be made. Please review the calendar in light of the following changes:
1) There is NO rehearsal on January 2nd. Not happening.
2) The listed dates beginning with January 30th were revised to be accurate to the actual calendar...they were misaligned and inaccurate date-wise
3) The only change to a scheduled rehearsal day is this Thursday, 12/1. That is now a Dreamers/Large Ensemble rehearsal to accommodate the rate at which we are learning the complicated harmonies of this piece. Please adjust accordingly, and know that it was in response to the needs of our ensemble...This time is for you to get confident with the material! One of the 'Work Music' days the week before Winter Break has been shifted to catch the songs originally scheduled for 12/1.
That should be it team!

The Production Calendar
On the right side of the page is a link to our production calendar. Here are some things you should bear in mind as you read it through:
1) Actors are not called until the time slot listed, though you're welcome to arrive early and work on things related to the show.
2) Tech builds are labeled with dates in parentheses...remember, according to the audition form you signed, you agreed to participate in at least two in their entirety. Make sure to plan ahead!
3) We have a long day booked on 1/16...the MLK Holiday. Book that clearly, we've lots to do.
4) All dates in yellow are non-negotiable...you've already agreed that you'll have zero conflicts on those days.
Please let me know if you have questions!

Auditions/Tech SignUps: The Secret Garden!
It's Time!
Welcome, members of the Wilson High School and SouthWest StageWorks community, to the week where we build the company of actors, managers, designers, technicians, and crew that will bring the Tony-winning Broadway classic 'The Secret Garden' to our audiences here in SW Portland.
What do you need to know to get involved?
Actors: Auditions begin 11/15. Download an audition packet from the link to the right, read it thoroughly, fill out the audition form, prep your song, and, when you get to WHS on Monday, sign up for your audition time, listen to the show music, read the play in Studio 108. Plan to be at all scheduled times, as we're trying to get a lot done in a brief period of time.
Management/Lead Candidates: Please sign up for your opportunity to work this show by Thursday, Nov. 18th.
Crew Candidates: See note above.
Anyone wishing to read the script (which should be everyone interested in the production) will have an opportunity to access scripts in Studio 108. Due to copyright rules, I cannot post them online, nor can I allow copies, so if you want to see text or music, it'll have to be onsite...sorry.
Be well, team; support each other; recruit the best talent Wilson has to offer; and prepare to kick some butt!
Jon and I are so looking forward to seeing and hearing your work!
